What time should I arrive?
Please arrive by 1pm so that we can ensure everyone is in their seats for the ceremony to begin at 1.15pm.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal, and we would like you to err on the more formal side. Hats and fascinators are encouraged. Please wear any colours you like, the bridal party will be in green and the grooms party will be in navy.
How do we get to the venue?
The Cathedral is a 15 minute walk from Chester Train station, or a 10 minute walk from the bus station.
There is parking nearby at Linenhall Car Park, Delamere Street Car Park, Frodsham Street Car Park or New Chester Market Car Park.
How do I get into the building?
Please enter via the entrance to the south transept, which can be found here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Broya8tJtw2f5o8e7 on St Werburgh Street opposite Up North Records.
When you arrive, the grooms party will be on hand to show you to your seat and answer any questions you may have.
Do I need to eat beforehand?
We would advise to eat brunch or lunch beforehand, as the wedding breakfast will be served from 4:30pm.
Can I bring a guest?
Please check your invitation to see if you have a plus one. All plus ones are specified by name.
Is there a wedding registry?
Our registry is on Prezola, which you can access via the link in the registry section. There are options to contribute towards bigger items or funds as well as links to smaller items.
Can I bring a gift to the wedding?
Gifts are not at all expected but much appreciated. There will be a table for cards and gifts at the wedding breakfast in the Refectory.
Can I take photos during the day?
During the ceremony, please refrain from taking any pictures. You are welcome to take pictures throughout the rest of the day!
